Some plants prefer to be watered every day and others have enough for once a week. We all want our plants to be happy and grow well, but keeping an eye on this schedule is not for everyone. Fortunately, there are handy tools, such as plant irrigators. What do they do exactly? We’ll explain that below.
Plant irrigator
Plant irrigators, drip systems and water balls all do the same thing: water plants. They are ready-made systems that provide indoor plants with water for a longer period of time. They really do make taking care of plants a lot easier if you weren’t born with a green thumb or don’t have much time for care. All you have to do is refill the water bulb when it is empty. And that should work, right?
How does it work?
A plant irrigator in the form of a water ball is filled with water and firmly inserted into the soil next to the houseplant. The irrigator then dispenses the water bit by bit. In this way plants only drink when they are thirsty and they get just enough water.
Not all plant irrigators are equally stylish. Go for water balls that are less conspicuous, such as these irrigators made of glass from Dille & Kamille. Glass also looks a lot more full-bodied than plastic.
